On Saturday was the 33rd Annual Osteopathic Fun Run that a friend and I were in charge of. There was a 10k, 5k, 1 mile and a kid's run (about 1/4 of a mile). There were close to 100 people who registered for the race all together and everything went as smooth as we hoped it would. I signed Tanner up for the kid's run which were ages 3 1/2 - 10. There were about 15 kids. Tanner was SO excited about this race. The night before he went to bed and I told him he needed good reset for his big race the next morning and he said "Yeah, I'm so excited Mom" and went to bed. The morning of the race I pinned his number on and he was ready to go. Tanner has loved to run since he learned how to walk. He did SO well. He came in 2nd place. They didn't do awards or anything because they are "all winners" at that age :). All the kids got to pick a little toy at the end. I was SO proud of my boy. Good Job Tanner!!
