Jocie @ 18mths....

Jocie has reached 18 months old and I can't believe it! Where does the time go? It really goes by too fast. It's weird to think that when we moved here Jocie was only 2 months old and now she's a year and a half and her personality is setting in and is starting to look like a little girl rather than a baby, so sad but so fun at the same time. I LOVE this age. Here are some things about my beautiful girl:

-First and Foremost this girl is F.E.A.R.L.E.S.S
- She loves to dance and sing! She knows the entire song "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". It is the cutest thing I've ever heard. She also loves to sing the ABC's, Popcorn Popping and Itsy Bitsy Spider
-She can count to 10
-She says SO many words. She repeats everything you say
-She LOVES to play with her brother and puts up with A LOT :)
-She loves to play outside
-She loves the show Backyardigans
-She folds her arms for prayers and say's Amen
-She burps on purpose and then say's "Scuse me" (thanks to her brother :))
-She does a silly face (pic below) SO FUNNY!
-She goes to sleep at 8 and wakes up around 7:30 and naps from noon to 2. When she wakes up, she never cries, she just sits there and plays and sometimes yells "Mama"
-Climbs on EVERYTHING (in, out, on top.....even the things you don't think she would fit in...she makes herself fit and then gets stuck and say's "Stuck")
-Loves to play with my computer and phone
-Has such a cute laugh and fake laugh. She'll tilt her head back and hahaha.
-Loves babies! Whenever she see's one she wants to touch it and say's "Baby"
-Loves her baby dolls
-Has tons of different face expressions
-Say's please and thank you
-When we go places she'll wave to people and say "hi" or when we leave she'll wave and say "See ya"
-Loves animals
-Has 10 teeth
-Favorite veggies are carrots, broccoli and cucumbers
-Favorite fruit are banana's, peaches, grapes, strawberries and apples
-Loves to look at books and sometimes blabbers and pretends she is reading
-Loves to brush her teeth
-Has a favorite blanky that she HAS to sleep and nap with
-Is such a binky baby
-Loves the water and bath time
-Does not like juice - only milk or water
-Goes down the slide at the park head first

I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but that's most of the updates. Here are some pics - Enjoy!

Loved to swing when it was a little warmer

I was SO happy to capture this smile

LOVE this face

"Hi"

Trying to turn the lights on

Loved to play in the grass at Tanner's soccer games

Not sure what this face was, but love it :)

Getting into mischief

Putting up with Tanner, sort of :)

This looks odd, but this is how I have to give her her medicine and she thinks it's funny but it works. It keeps her hands down and my knees keep her head still so she can't turn and spit it out.

Her baby
Her "squishy" face

Loved the pumpkins and taking the candles out and putting them back in

They get along so well.....for the most part

Her "silly" face

Doing "Itsy Bitsy Spider"

We love you SOOOOOO much Jocie!

Pumpkins

Nate and I love to get into holidays. We thought it was time to get Tanner and Jocie a pumpkin and get them carved since it is almost Halloween. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. Anyway, Nate carved Jocie's and made one of his cool tree's that he likes doing (and does really good at) and Tanner wanted some ghosts, so that's what I carved on his. We didn't get to carve last year so this was really the first time Tanner got to experience the carving. It was so funny because Nate asked him to help pull out all the seeds once he cut the top off and he took one look inside and said "gross, what is that. I don't want to touch in there." We finally got him to telling him it was cool and fun.....I know, awesome parenting huh. So he reached in carefully, took out one seed and then threw it. He said "Daddy, you can do that part and I will just cut it with a knife k". Jocie had fun watching drinking her milk and playing with her "baby". It was getting late so we put her to bed, finished carving and then took them outside to see the results. When we walked outside we heard jumbling in our garbage can and out poked a.......(look below to find out.......intense, I know). Oh yeah and I also made snickers popcorn for the first time and it made a freakin TON. I don't know what that recipe was thinking but next time I will for sure do a 1/4 of it :). It was yummy though. We had a stellar night!!
