Vacation Week 2 - Hawaii

Nate and I went to Hawaii with his parents and his brother Ben on June 26th for a week. It was awesome, rad, amazing, gorgeous, relaxing, exotic, FUN, and just so nice to be in HAWAII. I told Nate when we were getting on the plane to go home that if we didn't have kids, I wouldn't be getting on the plane and would just stay in Hawaii F.O.R.E.V.E.R. I absolutely love that place and can I just say that I absolutely LOVE palm trees. If you haven't been - GO!! It's a must! My pictures below are jumbled and all out of order. I was going to organize them but decided not to that no one but me would care anyway :). We did so many fun things. We went to Warren and Annabel's magic show (which was the best show ever), parasailing, hiking, went on a helicopter ride, went to many yummy places to eat, did some shopping, Nate and I got a date night to celebrate our anniversary, many walks on the beach, pool basketball, I learned how to make a polynesian flower out of fabric and just did so many fun things.  It was a blast!!!!! Oh and I can't forget....I learned how to swim under water without plugging my nose and even....you ready.... opened my eyes underwater.... yeah that's right :) For those of you who know me, this was a BIG DEAL! Nate and Boone helped teach me for hours in the pool. I'm definitely not a pro at it and still have lots of practice ahead but it was a great start and I was so proud :) I have to thanks my in-laws and Boone for making this such a fun trip for us. We love you!

Vacation Week 1 - Utah

We had such a great summer!!! After my parents came out they took Tanner back home with them. So he was there a week before we got there and had a blast. Then Nate’s sis Stacey came out which was a blast. We met Nate in Kansas City, which was where his preceptorship was, took Jocie to the Zoo for her first time, stayed the night and then flew out to start our vacation. We started our first week in Utah, second week in HAWAII, third week back in Utah, and the last two weeks in our new place with a small little trip to Columbia. There are lots of pics due to lots of fun being had so I'm splitting our summer into a few different posts.

There were WAY too many cicada's at the beginning of the summer. Tanner had fun with them after his grandpa helped him not be afraid of them :)

We went to the Dinosaur Museum at TP. Tanner thought it was so cool. Here he is posing with his Grandma Gibb - always has to make a "cool" or "scary" face. Hopefully it's just the age and he'll grow out of that...haha. So cute though!
