Fam Pics May 2011

I've been dying to get our fam pics taken and my friend Ash took them for us and did such a good job. She must have done some major editing on my behalf because I never like pics of myself and I can say that I won't throw any of these away :) so thanks Ash you are awesome and such a great photographer girl! Tanner's 1st Yr. Preschool Graduation

 As most of you know 4 friends and I took turns being our 3 year olds preschool teacher. We would teach twice a week for an hour and a half and then rotate. It was a lot of fun and a great experience. They are such cute kids and had so much fun together and hopefully learned some things from us smart women :) I can't believe it's over and that Tanner graduated his 1st year of preschool. Time sure flies. Here are some pics of the fun event!!

Congrats Tanner!! You had a great year buddy and I'm so proud of you. I love you so much!! Also, thank you Melissa, Megan, Leslie and Kristen for this wonderful idea. It was awesome!!

Fun Practice Pics

It's been SO fun practicing with my new camera. It was fun taking some close-up shots. I LOVE close-up pictures (not of myself - gross) but of my cute kids. I have a long way to go but it's so fun getting back into this hobby of mine. Mon-Wed this week were super nice sunny days so we went to the lake EVERY day. I love it there and will spend many more days there this summer. Enjoy :)

Ok, so I've been wanting a nice digital camera since I took my photography classes at UVU 8 years ago. These camera's are not cheap so we've never got the gumption to buy one. Recently we've been talking about buying one with tax return money but never made a final decision. Nate surprised me and got me one for my Mother's Day/ 8 Year Anniversary present (which isn't until June but close enough :)). I was S.T.O.K.E.D. out of my mind. I don't remember a lot of my learnings from my photography classes since it was SOOOOO long ago but I'm determined now to get there. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was 17. I haven't read any instructions yet but I took the kids to the lake the other day and took some practice pics. They turned out pretty good but I have lots of work to do and lots to learn. Thanks sweets for my awesome gift. I love you!!!
