St. Louis Trip

Nate had a week off from school - can I get a WOOT WOOT and a FRIG YEAH!!!! It was SO much fun since it is SO rare. The first part of the week was nice just to relax and enjoy time together. We went on hikes, played soccer at the park, watched movies and just had fun. On Thursday we went to St. Louis and went to the Magic House. It was a huge museum/play place with different rooms for kids to play in and learn about things. The kids LOVED it! Then on Friday we went to the zoo. Can I just say what an awesome zoo.......especially for being FREE! We stayed there for 6 hours and had so much fun. The Hills were there too so we met up with them for a couple of hours. It would've been a little more enjoyable if it hadn't been 101 degrees and sooooo humid. But we dealt with it and made the best of it. Then that night we went to our first major league baseball game - the Cards game vs. the Reds. It was WAY fun! I love going to things like that. We worried how the kids would do, but they did pretty darn good. Jocie stayed awake until the 8th inning and then crashed. Tanner stayed awake during the whole game......it might have been because he knew there were fireworks afterwards. Anyway, it was a blast! Then Saturday we went to the mall and looked around......wishing I had lots of money to spend ..... :) Oh and a lady tried stealing on of Tanner's toys (interesting story). Then we headed home. It was fun to get out and just be us. I love my family!!
Love these kids!
